NEW AUTOMATION OF A SLITTING LINE

EFFE Technology gladly announces the acquisition of a further important order from ACCIAI TUBI SPA. In fact EFFE Technology has been chosen to supply the new automation for the mangement and control of a slitting line located in the production plant in Terno D'Isola (BG).

In accordance with EFFE Technology's mission we have created a plant composition with the needed configuration to successfully attaint the goal of optimizing and improving the current production performance and moreover the quality and safety of the plant.

We have:

• Replaced the DC electric motors with the latest product from SIMOTICS M series to optimize and improve the performances of the plant. 

• Created specific software functions to enable the operation of the line to be as automatic as possible.

• Installed a supervision system to give a clear interface to the operators and to improve the productivity, the quality and the safety of the plant.

The managing director of ACCIAI TUBI SPA Mr. Matteo Berera says:

• 20% Energy saving on the coil’s cutting process.

• Intuitive operator interfaces easy to be used. This has significantly streamlined the training of the new operators.
